Thanks to all those who began phone banking last week! Please see below for several points that you might not be aware of:

  • You may use a cell phone, however, please be aware your plan will determine any charges incurred. Hard lines are free.
  • Please make sure to ask the voter the question “Who are you going to support in the Aug 10th Primary” and answer the question on your screen. This information is vital to our success!!!
  • You will not be dialing phone numbers. After you type in your ten digit number, the system will call you and then initiate the phone banking.
  • When using the SMART DROP option please wait until the Voice Mail has finished and click drop, as though you were leaving the message yourself.

Here's how it works:


Campaign Name or ID
: Schiff for Senate

Your phone Number: Your ten-digit phone number

Campaign Passcode: WeWin

Your Email Address: Preferred email address (for security purposes)

Hold Music: Default

After filing out the form, please click "Next" in the lower right-hand corner. You will then receive a call with the passcode to enter on the screen.

Next, the system will now begin to make calls for you. On your screen you can see the name, number and town you are calling. As soon as someone answers you are live with the receiver. Please follow the script, and record the data from the call.

If you hear an answering machine, you can click on the button “Smart Drop.” The system will read a prerecorded message to the person. After you have clicked on “Smart Drop,” you should click on “Next Call."

Remember that as long as you use a land line, the call is free of charge.

If people want to be added to a do not call list please check off the don’t call field.

If the person on the other end hangs up, the system will move on.
